This IndraDyn S Synchronous Servomotor combines compact design with advanced electromagnetic architecture to drive dynamic industrial applications. Engineered for resilience, it features an increased concentricity design that minimizes vibration and enhances long-term reliability. Its integrated shaft with keyway ensures positive torque transmission in demanding start–stop cycles.
The motor uses natural convection for maintenance-free thermal management, eliminating moving parts and reducing system complexity. Feedback is provided by an optical multiturn absolute encoder with a rotatable, 240° connector, delivering 2048 signal periods via the EnDat2.1 interface for sub-micrometer positioning accuracy. Rated for a continuous current at standstill 100 K of 8.1 A and a continuous torque at standstill 100 K of 13.5 Nm, it sustains peak demands up to a maximum current of 32.4 A and a maximum torque of 43.5 Nm. The holding brake, electrically-released applies 11 Nm of retention torque for instant load arrest, while a winding inductivity of 12 600 mH smooths current ripple and supports stable loop gains.
Seamless integration into Bosch Rexroth drive platforms is enabled by its standard rated speed code 0300, simplifying parameterization and reducing commissioning time. The motor’s robust construction and advanced encoder technology ensure high reliability in servo loops under continuous heavy loads.
