The motor uses liquid cooling through the FN circuit to remove heat from the stator, allowing continuous output without airflow inside the cabinet. Mechanical concentricity is improved by the increased-concentricity design, and the drive side wiring is simplified because the power connector is mounted on the A-side of the housing. A plain shaft transmits torque directly to couplings or gearboxes, while a shaft seal retains coolant and lubricants. Size code 101 defines the stator diameter, and length code E specifies the active stack height; together they set the continuous power range for the frame. Electromagnetic parameters are matched to drive inverters by winding code 0200, which fixes resistance and inductance values for the stator coils.

Rotor position is monitored by an EnDat2.1 optical feedback system that provides 2048 signal periods per revolution. Because the encoder is optical and singleturn, it delivers high interpolation accuracy within one mechanical revolution without multiturn counting. An electrically released holding brake supplies 70 Nm of static torque to secure vertical or suspended loads when power is removed. The servo is shipped fully assembled with the specified brake, encoder, cooling jacket, and A-side connector, so integration involves only coolant plumbing and standard IndraDrive cabling.
