The integrated encoder unit plays an essential role in speed or position control by sending a signal to the drive controller highlighting the rotor's current position. Encoder electronics harbour data memory storing motor and control loop parameters readable by Rexroth drive control devices. Its technical specifications include a constant stop current of 1.8A, continuous standstill torque of 3.4Nm, maximum torque of 9Nm, and maximum speed of 4300 min-1.
