For speed or position control, complete rotor position information is required, provided by an integrated encoder unit, communicating directly with the drive controller. The encoder system contains a data memory component that stores motor type, parameters, and control loop data read by Rexroth drive control devices. The servomotor offers a continuous torque of 3.4Nm at standstill, with a maximum torque of 9Nm, and a maximum speed of 4300 min-1. Designed with 4-pole pairs, the IP65-protected motor features a naturally convecting housing design, an optional fan mount, standard shaft sealing, and a 6Nm electrically released holding brake.
