The unit operates with natural convection cooling and requires cooling type FN. The motor supports both horizontal and vertical installation, has an IP65-rated housing for the output shaft, and includes a lifetime-greased shaft seal. It is equipped with a singleturn optical Hiperface encoder with 128 signal periods and supports an encoder resolution suitable for precise control. The holding brake is electrically released with a torque of 70 Nm.
