It operates with natural convection cooling, with optional support for an air blower. The motor incorporates a multiturn absolute optical encoder with Hiperface interface, providing 128 signal periods and a 240° rotatable connector. It includes an electrically-released holding brake with 10 Nm torque. The housing meets IP65 ingress protection and is coated for resistance to corrosion from dilute acids, alkalis, lyes, and hydraulic oils. Operational parameters include a continuous standstill current of 4.8 A, continuous standstill torque of 9.0 Nm, maximum current of 19.4 A, maximum torque of 12.0 Nm, and winding inductivity of 21,400 mH. The device functions in ambient temperatures up to 40°C during operation and tolerates up to 80°C when not powered.
