The unit provides natural convection cooling and is equipped with a plain shaft and DS thread front centering hole conforming to DIN 332, Part 2. It offers a rotatable Encoder Connector (240°), optical multiturn absolute encoder with EnDat2.1 interface and 2048 signal periods. Continuous current at standstill (100 K) is 3.6 A, continuous torque at standstill (100 K) is 9.0 Nm, with a maximum current of 14.4 A and maximum torque of 12.0 Nm. The winding has an inductivity of 36,500 mH. Motor design supports enhanced concentricity (DIN 42955), with an IP65 protection class for shaft and housing, and a sound pressure level below 75 dBA. Components can withstand temperatures up to 155°C. A solid grounding connection is required. Only manufacturer-approved accessories are to be used, and installation should ensure a high protection class environment. This model is supplied without a holding brake and is not suitable for underwater operation. Installation and handling should be performed by qualified personnel, and the motor must cool for at least 140 minutes after use before handling. Avoid tensile load on connection cables to prevent explosive hazards.
