It features natural convection cooling, with provisions for an external air blower for additional surface cooling if required by application dynamics. The optical multiturn absolute encoder (Hiperface interface) delivers ±20 arc seconds accuracy with 128 signal periods and sustained axis position after power-off. Electrical specifications include a standstill continuous current of 35.5 A at 100 K, a continuous torque of 57.0 Nm at 100 K, a maximum current of 135.0 A, and a peak torque of 185.0 Nm. The motor uses a 3,200 mH winding and has a plain shaft without a holding brake. Heat dissipation is managed by a stator-to-housing heat transmission system.
