The mechanical envelope follows a frame size of 100 mm and a frame length code of B, giving designers a predictable mounting footprint across the series. Digital feedback is transferred through the bidirectional Hiperface protocol, which overlays absolute data on the incremental tracks read by the Optical sensing elements. Multiturn counting is inherent because the encoder is of the Multiturn-absolute type, so the controller receives valid position information immediately after power up without homing. Stator characteristics are defined by winding code 0200, which fixes voltage constant and thermal limits for drive pairing. All rotational energy is delivered through the plain shaft, while the absence of a holding brake lowers rotor inertia for faster dynamic response.
