QSY Synchronous Servo Motors

QSY Synchronous Servo Motors are Bosch Rexroth Indramat permanent-magnet feed motors developed for NC-controlled machine tools that require smooth axis motion, precise speed regulation, and dependable position feedback. The motors use sinusoidal commutation and integrated rotary encoders, with feedback options that include the ERN 1387 incremental encoder as well as ECN 1313 and EQN 1325 EnDat 2.2 absolute encoders in singleturn or multiturn configurations. Their design emphasizes low torque ripple, suitable rotor inertia, and a strong relationship between rated and stall torque to support accurate feed-axis behavior. QSY motors use IM B5 flange mounting, IP65 motor protection with IP64 at the shaft exit, and maintenance-free bearings rated for a nominal service life of 30,000 hours under specified operating conditions. Available options include keyed shafts and holding brakes, while KTY 84-130 sensors provide stator temperature monitoring under thermal class F. Selected EcoDyn versions are designed to increase rated torque while reducing current demand, and absolute-encoder configurations include an electronic ID label for automatic motor recognition and diagnostic support.
