SG Synchronous Servo Motors

Bosch Rexroth SG Synchronous Servo Motors are brushless permanent-magnet servo motors used with Servodyn-G(C)16 inverter systems for precise industrial motion control. The series uses rare-earth rotor magnets and low-inertia construction to deliver fast acceleration, responsive axis behavior, and strong torque performance in compact machine designs. Integrated resolver feedback supplies rotor position and speed data for closed-loop operation, while an NTC thermistor in the stator winding provides motor temperature monitoring. Smooth running is supported by the sinusoidal motor EMF, brushless design, and direct heat transfer from the motor to the housing, helping reduce maintenance demands while supporting high load capacity. SG motors are built with enclosed IP65 housings, insulation class F, and permanently lubricated prestressed bearings, with available options including keyed shafts, holding brakes, flange-accuracy versions, and special shaft sealing arrangements for application-specific installation.
