VCP IndraControl Terminals
The VCP11.2ECN-004-NN-WN-PW is an operator terminal produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VCP IndraControl Terminals series. It combines a monochrome FSTN display with a resistive touchscreen so machine personnel can execute commands, view parameters, and acknowledge alarms directly at the production line. By merging visualization, input, and field connectivity in one unit, the panel streamlines cabinet wiring in automated packaging, assembly, and material-handling equipment.
A RISC ARM9 processor runs at 200 MHz, and the firmware allocates 3 MByte of application space for project logic. Graphics are rendered on a 5.7-inch panel that delivers 320 × 240 pixels at 90 cd/m² for clear status pages. An Ethernet controller compliant with 10/100 Base-T supports programming and plant networking, while the electronics draw power from a regulated 24 V DC source. Runtime variables reside in 32 MB of SDRAM, fast buffers rely on 512 KB of SRAM, and a self-resetting semiconductor fuse guards the supply rail against short circuits or overloads.
Long service life is supported by a backlight rating of 30000 h, reducing maintenance cycles. The screen accepts input through a analog resistive 4-wire touch layer, allowing operation with gloves or styluses in industrial environments. Application files, language tables, and historic data are retained in 16 MByte of onboard flash, and each USB host connector can source up to 100 mA for barcode readers or memory sticks. Integrated polarity-reversal protection, together with the resettable fuse, complements the processing speed, memory capacity, and network link introduced above by preventing damage during wiring errors or transient faults.
