VCP IndraControl Terminals
The VCP35.2ECN-003-PB-NN-PW is a graphical operator terminal from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the VCP IndraControl Terminals series. As a panel-mounted HMI, it forms the interface between PLC-based control systems and machine operators on the factory floor. The unit integrates a color LCD, a resistive touchscreen, and industrial-grade sealing so that status data, setpoints, and diagnostics can be entered or read directly at the machine.
The display presents process graphics at a resolution of 640 x 480 px across a 162 mm × 215 mm viewing area, allowing legible menus and trend lines. It supports 256 distinct colors, which is sufficient for clear differentiation of alarms, backgrounds, and active objects without excessive memory use. Operator input is accepted through a Analog Resistive (4-Wire) touchscreen that functions reliably with gloved hands and maintains accuracy under vibration. Internal electronics are powered from a nominal 24 V DC supply; when this voltage is present the front surface maintains a sealing level of IP65, permitting wash-down cleaning while keeping dust and spray away from the circuitry.
White LED illumination behind the TFT panel is rated for a backlight half-life of 50000 h, while the LCD itself carries an expected operating lifespan of 100000 h, so display maintenance intervals remain long even in continuous service. The electronics tolerate supply fluctuations between 18 V and a maximum of 30 V to accommodate line dips or cabinet wiring losses. Mechanical integration is simplified by a mounting cutout of 222 x 303 mm, and once secured the 249 mm × 328 mm × 5 mm front panel sits flush with the enclosure. The rear section is protected to IP20, matching typical control cabinet environments.
