HZF Filter Modules

HZF Filter Modules are supply-side filter components used in drive power systems to reduce commutation effects and line-side electrical interference from connected supply units. The series is commonly applied as a combining filter or commutation choke within the drive installation. Each unit is identified through a structured type code that defines the product family, line, design level, cooling method, nominal power class, and any added design variant. Natural convection is the standard cooling method across the series. Available nominal power classes include common sizes such as 10 kW, 25 kW, and 45 kW, allowing the filter to be matched to different supply-unit ratings. The modules are built for 50/60 Hz operation and provide continuous current ratings that increase with power class, including examples such as 18 A, 45 A, and 80 A. Model-specific performance data includes base losses, load-dependent loss factors per kW of DC bus power, total losses at maximum continuous connected power, and mechanical differences such as unit weight.
