The R911170471 (PST6100.333-L) is a thyristor power unit engineered for precise control of current resistance in welding applications. It integrates with welding machines via the BOS-5000 interface and includes field bus connectivity for real-time communication and monitoring of system parameters. The unit provides an I/O interface slot, optional field bus module, and supports an optional quality module. Overload conditions are managed by a thermostat switch that signals the weld timer. It supports a grounded supply voltage from 400 V (-20%) to 600 V (+10%) at 50/60 Hz and operates at ambient temperatures up to 55°C. Specifications include air blower cooling, a 130 A nominal system current, integrated timer, and 24 V DC voltage supply. Installation requires placement in an IP 54 cabinet with 100 mm clearance at the top and bottom.
