The Bosch Rexroth Indramat VMA 070CR 001-D from the VMA Power Modules series is a high-performance supply module engineered for demanding industrial applications. It accepts a Supply Voltage 400–460 VAC input and features a Current Input 2.7 A rating on its 24 V DC auxiliary supply. This compact unit measures Module Width 150 mm and incorporates a Modular Inverter with energy recovery for backplane modules. Its overall footprint and functionality make it ideal for seamless integration into Rexroth’s VMA backplane architecture.
Heat management is handled through a standard air-cooling system supplemented by sinusoidal recovery to optimize thermal dissipation. Under an ambient temperature of 45°C, the VMA 070CR 001-D delivers a Rated Current 68 A, sustains Nominal Power 47 kW, and can peak at Peak Power 70 kW for short bursts. Total power loss at full load is 800 W, and the module’s chassis weighs 14.3 kg, providing a robust yet manageable package. No ballast switch is required, while internal cooling assures stable performance across varied duty cycles.
Connectivity and modularity are enhanced by the NE line reactor interface and the optional NAA 70 Mains Connection Module, which itself weighs 8.4 kg, operates at 400 VAC, 48–62 Hz, and cools by natural convection. Firmware resides on an MC-VM memory card, allowing upgrades without core hardware changes. To complete commissioning, users must install a PM VMA personality module and one RM backplane module, choosing between RMC/VM Standard or RMC/VMC Cold versions with two fan configurations. The VMA 070CR 001-D is backed by a one-year warranty, ensuring reliable service in critical automation environments.
