VT-NE30-21

The VT-NE30-21 is a compact power supply unit made by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-NE Power Supply Units series and is identified as variant 21. It generates a single, filtered DC rail for control electronics and sensor loops in industrial automation. The product is unipolar by design, reducing wiring complexity, and its housing weighs 3.1 kg, allowing installation inside small control cabinets. Its slim steel enclosure also dissipates heat through natural convection, avoiding the need for fans and reducing maintenance in sealed panels. The limited chassis depth lets the supply share narrow DIN rails with relays and miniature circuit breakers without crowding.

The unit accepts an input range of 115/230 VAC ±10% and is factory configured for a default 230 VAC line, so no jumper change is needed in most plants. It synchronizes with supply cycles at 50/60 Hz, allowing operation on commonly used industrial power systems. Under full load, the converter delivers 108 W through a regulated output of +26 VDC. Up to 4 A can be drawn continuously, powering several analog cards or valve amplifiers from one source. A built-in LC network attenuates switching noise before the terminals, and transient suppression clamps inside the rectifier stage prevent line surges from propagating to downstream circuitry.

Filtered DC exits through a terminal strip that accepts wires up to 4 mm² and is protected by an 8 A slow-blow fuse positioned beside the feed point. Residual ripple remains below 5%, minimizing offset errors in proportional valve electronics. The housing snaps onto a DIN rail built to EN 60715 and can also be secured using 4.8 × 9 mm slots for direct panel mounting. The terminal arrangement keeps incoming and outgoing conductors organized within the enclosure. Clear side markings help reduce the risk of accidental shorts during maintenance.
