VT-NE30-26

The VT-NE30-26 is a compact power supply unit built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-NE Power Supply Units series. It is a unipolar, single-output source designed for industrial automation equipment. The unit converts alternating mains energy into filtered direct current for valve amplifiers, PLC I/O racks, and other low-voltage devices.

This model accepts line frequencies of 50/60 Hz and can be connected to either single-phase 230 VAC ±10% or 115 VAC ±10% networks; the dual-range input eases installation in mixed-voltage plants. Protection on the primary side is provided by an 8 A slow-blow fuse that tolerates inrush without nuisance tripping. Internally, the transformer, rectifier, and filter network deliver a stabilized output of +26 VDC. That rail supplies a continuous power budget of 108 W, allowing multiple control cards to be fed from one source as long as their combined demand stays within the 4 A maximum load current. Residual ripple below 5% helps prevent undesirable modulation in analog circuits and proportional valves, while the unipolar topology prevents polarity reversal on sensitive logic boards. The single filtered output also simplifies wiring because no external smoothing capacitors are required.

The unit has a width of 96 mm, a depth of 102 mm, and a height of 140.0 mm, making it suitable for cabinets with limited space. With a mass of 3.1 kg, the unit can be installed on DIN rails or panel plates without special reinforcement. Field wiring enters spring or screw terminals sized for conductors up to 4 mm². The enclosure withstands storage temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C, allowing spare units to be kept in unconditioned warehouses. Primary-side fuse protection safeguards the input circuit during faults, while the low-ripple output supports sensitive motion-control and hydraulic drive electronics.
