VT-NE31-11

The VT-NE31-11 is a compact bipolar power supply unit from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the VT-NE Power Supply Units series. It delivers stabilized positive and negative DC rails for control cards mounted in hydraulic and motion-control racks. By converting single-phase mains power into matched voltages, the module supplies logic circuits, analog conditioning stages, and relay drivers used throughout industrial automation. It installs on a DIN 43651 card base and routes its outputs to screw terminals for accessible wiring and servicing.

The supply accepts single-phase mains power at 50/60 Hz and has a selectable input range of 230 VAC ±10% or 115 VAC ±10%. An internal 0.8 A slow-blow ceramic fuse protects the transformer and rectifier against primary-side overcurrent. Under full load, the regulator provides filtered rails of +24 VDC and -24 VDC, allowing symmetrical power delivery to operational amplifiers and sensor bridges. Heat generated by the linear regulation stage escapes through the perforated housing, supporting continuous operation without an auxiliary fan. Wiring can be completed with stranded or solid conductors up to 4 mm². All external circuits share a floating common, which helps minimize ground loops in connected control equipment.

The rated output current reaches 0.25 A across the pair, so downstream loads must remain within this limit to prevent undervoltage. Continuous output power is 6 W per rail and is supplied through the transformer secondary and linear regulators. Voltage quality is maintained with a residual ripple of < 5%, supporting low-noise analog stages without additional filtering. The unit weighs 1.1 kg, enabling direct mounting on card guides without additional supports. The unit is revision 11. Its floating dual-output topology keeps the DC circuits isolated from protective earth while using a shared filter network to suppress conducted electrical noise.
