VT-NE31-13

The VT-NE31-13 is a compact bipolar power supply unit from Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the VT-NE Power Supply Units series. It mounts quickly on a DIN rail and converts single-phase mains power into two isolated 24-volt rails that feed sensors, valve amplifiers, and other low-power control modules inside automated machinery. By providing regulated DC power close to the load, the supply minimizes wiring runs and helps protect analog stages from line-borne disturbances.

The input accepts 115/230 VAC ±10%, allowing the unit to operate with common domestic or industrial line voltages. It supports mains frequencies of 50/60 Hz, enabling use in different power systems. An internal 0.8 A slow-blow glass fuse protects the transformer and rectifier against prolonged overloads. The downstream linear regulator delivers a positive rail of +24 VDC under full load. The total output current available to the load is limited to 0.25 A, which protects the filter capacitors and keeps thermal dissipation within the enclosure. The negative output is generated simultaneously, and both rails are isolated and filtered to suppress conducted noise.

The negative rail supplies -24 VDC, providing a symmetrical power source for operational amplifiers and proportional-valve electronics. Each channel can deliver up to 6 W for connected control devices. Residual ripple remains less than 5% of the nominal voltage, supporting the operation of precision analog circuits. Mechanical mounting complies with EN 60715, and two 4.8 × 9 mm fixing slots permit screw attachment when rail space is unavailable. Field wiring with conductor sizes up to 4 mm² enters the cage clamps directly. The supply weighs 1.1 kg, which limits the load placed on the mounting rail or supporting panel. Its no-load output level is ±27 VDC.
