VT-NE32-12

The VT-NE32-12 is a compact, unipolar, regulated power supply unit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-NE Power Supply Units series. It provides controlled DC rails to motion-control electronics and proportional valve cards, ensuring that sensitive circuitry inside automated machinery receives a stable supply isolated from plant mains disturbances. The device integrates dual filtered outputs in a single metal housing, so machine builders can place one module inside the control cabinet instead of using separate transformers, rectifiers, and regulators.

The input stage is rated for 230 VAC ±10% when wired for high-line operation, while a link jumper allows selection of the alternative 115 V tap without hardware changes. Both input options operate at 50/60 Hz, supporting installation on common industrial power systems. The first output can deliver a continuous 2.5 A and is regulated to +25 VDC at full load, with the open-circuit level rising to +30 VDC. A dedicated 4 A slow-blow fuse connected in series with this rail provides overload protection without causing nuisance trips during inrush events. Screw terminals for both channels accept conductors up to 4 mm², allowing standard control wiring to be connected without additional adapters.

The isolated second output supplies +24 VDC at up to 1 A for sensors, relays, or logic modules. When the primary channel is loaded to its rated 60 W, ripple on that rail remains below 2%, while ripple on the secondary rail stays under 50 mVAC to reduce interference with analog signals. The filtered outputs meet the noise limits of servo drives without requiring external chokes. The assembly can be stored at temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C and weighs 2.2 kg, making it easier to handle during control cabinet installation or maintenance. The second channel provides 24 W of power for compatible low-voltage control devices.
