VT-NE32-17

The VT-NE32-17 is a compact, unipolar, regulated power supply unit built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-NE Power Supply Units series. It converts single-phase line power into two stabilized DC rails that supply control electronics, sensors, and relay loads inside automated machinery. By providing filtered and controlled dual outputs, the device maintains signal integrity for PLC I/O cards, drive controllers, and closed-loop feedback modules that require steady, low-ripple voltages during continuous industrial operation.

At its line terminals, the supply accepts either 230 VAC ±10% or 115 VAC ±10% at a line frequency of 50/60 Hz, allowing installation on either supported voltage network. The line conductors connect to screw terminals that accept wire sizes up to 4 mm², while an internal 4 A slow-blow fuse protects the first output branch. Output 1 delivers a maximum current of 2.5 A at a regulated level of +25 VDC. At full load, this channel can supply up to 60 W of power for valve amplifiers or motion-controller logic. Residual ripple on this rail remains below 2%, limiting analog offset errors. The output configuration is factory-set as dual, filtered, and actively controlled, allowing both rails to respond to load changes without large transient excursions.

The second branch supplies 1 A at +24 VDC, providing an additional 24 W for contactors or encoder excitation. Ripple on this branch remains below 50 mVAC to protect sensitive transducers, while the combined output power of 84 W supports mixed analog and digital loads from one unit. The total unit mass is 2.2 kg, simplifying DIN-rail or panel mounting next to drive modules. The series designation 17 distinguishes this model’s electrical ratings from earlier sizes within the VT-NE family.
