VT-NE32-18

The VT-NE32-18 is a compact, unipolar, regulated power supply unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the VT-NE Power Supply Units series. The suffix “18” identifies the current series version released by the manufacturer. Designed for cabinet installation, it converts single-phase AC mains into two stabilized DC rails that feed control electronics, valve amplifiers, and other low-voltage devices used in motion-control systems on automated machinery. It is intended for DIN-rail or back-panel mounting inside protected enclosures commonly found in plant control cabinets.

Output 1 delivers +25 VDC at full load, while the secondary channel holds +24 VDC and can provide 1 A continuously. The first rail can source up to 2.5 A, allowing multiple analog cards or pilot valves to share the same supply. With residual ripple kept under 2%, the voltage remains stable enough for precision reference circuits; ripple on the second rail stays below 50 mVAC for clean logic power. The unit accepts either 230 VAC ±10% or 115 VAC mains, automatically adjusting through an internal tap so installers can use it with both European and North American panels. Each output is filtered and electronically controlled, so downstream components are isolated from high-frequency noise and short-term line disturbances.

Protection against sustained overloads is provided by a 4 A slow-blow fuse that coordinates with internal shutdown circuitry. The transformer handles a 50/60 Hz line frequency, avoiding derating when equipment is moved between regions. Mechanical integration is simplified by a case width of 84 mm, a depth of 101.5 mm, and a height of 128.0 mm, all within a steel housing that weighs 2.2 kg. Screw terminals accommodate conductors up to the 4 mm² cross-section limit, so the full 60 W and 24 W channel capacities can be delivered without excessive wiring losses.
