VT12302-3X/2-64G

The VT12302-3X/2-64G is a plug-in electronics carrier card created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-SWMA Modules series. It occupies a standardized rack position and provides mechanical support and a signal backplane for connected automation subassemblies. Within industrial control cabinets, the card distributes low-level command and feedback lines between motion controllers, valve drivers, and monitoring boards, reducing custom wiring and supporting a modular control architecture.

As an interconnect layer, the board provides a 64-pin female multipoint connector that follows the DIN 41612 standard, allowing direct insertion into common 19-inch Eurocard frames. Control signals and sensor supplies are limited to 30 VDC across the terminals, helping prevent overstress of sensitive I/O lines or accidental arcing between adjacent contacts. The housing has an IP20 protection rating, so components are protected against finger contact, but the module must be mounted inside a sealed control cabinet where dust or moisture is present. Reliable operation is maintained from -20 to +70 °C, enabling the rack to remain powered during cold starts in unconditioned plants and at elevated temperatures near hydraulic power units.

The module slides into a two-position closed card holder, which simplifies cable routing and keeps bus lengths short within the subrack. Mechanical rigidity comes from a frame made of colorlessly passivated sheet steel, while an integrated grounding screw connects the housing to the cabinet ground and diverts static or fault currents away from signal traces. Internally, pin assignments are organized along the even-numbered F, D, B, and Z lines, and the connector uses design code G to prevent incorrect alignment with mating plugs. The total installed mass is 1.25 kg, allowing the module to be mounted in drawers supported by light-duty runners without exceeding their load limits.
