The VT-HACD-1-1X-V0-1-D-0 is a Bosch industrial command value card used for signal linkage, creation and standardization. It can be employed in control loops, with an optional state feedback and PIDT1 controller, and it supports DeviceNet communication. The card requires a computer-based BODAC software (not included) for programming, setting, and diagnosis, and can connect to up to 32 control electronics via a local bus. Each is assigned a bus address via BODAC. It provides an RS-232 serial service interface for computer connection with minimum system requirements of Windows XP/Vista/7, 64 MB RAM, and 250 MB storage. An interface cable, a USB adapter, and a Profibus connector are additionally required. Featuring a Profibus DP in Motorola format and CANopen, its process connection can communicate with superior control. If used as a controller card, it can use SSI or incremental type digital position measurement systems. The card's maximum encoder input frequency is 100 kilohertz, influenced by drive velocity, encoder system resolution, and EXE signal evaluation. Its signal connection should be set to "Controller" if used as such. It operates on a nominal supply of 24 Volts DC with a standby current draw of 250 milliamps.
