VT-HACD Digital Axis Controllers are rail-mounted control electronics used for hydraulic axis control and command-signal processing. The series can run PIDT1-based control loops with optional state feedback, making it suitable for controlled hydraulic positioning and motion applications. It can also be used as command-value electronics for generating, combining, and standardizing control signals. Feedback options include SSI and incremental digital measuring systems, with the ability to incorporate analog sensor signals as part of the control setup. The hardware provides six software-configurable analog inputs for voltage or current signals, three analog outputs, and digital I/O that includes a dedicated enable input and OK status output. Applications are configured through a structural editor using up to 32 function blocks, where command values, ramp times, motion rates, and controller parameters can be stored. Block execution can be triggered by digital inputs, signal thresholds, or timers. Hydraulic-specific functions include mathematical signal linking, limiters, filters, direction-dependent gain, valve characteristic correction, overlap jump and residual velocity logic, and zero-point offset adjustment. Commissioning and diagnostics are performed with BODAC PC software through an RS-232 connection, with fieldbus options available for networking and higher-level control integration. The controller operates from a standard 18–30 VDC supply.
