The VT-HACD-522-1X-V0-EFF00404 is a digital command value card, or a controller card, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It requires protection from dust and moisture and should be handled only after discharging any static voltage. Operating at a maximum voltage rating of 24VDC, the unit features a D-Sub socket for the RS 232 serial interface, an OK LED, and mountings held via its front panel. The system links to similar cards using a local bus and each card is associated with a unique bus address. Notably, the system conducts a self-function test after startup, which only proceeds once the BODAC software is installed and cables are verified defect-free. The product boasts a four-digit display, separate serial and PROFIBUS connectors, and positive and negative LED indicators. It can be configured from run mode and links to external test instruments via the diagnostics test jacks.
