The DDS03.1-W030-DS29-02 is a servo drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. Installed inside a control enclosure, it receives motion commands from a central PLC and modulates three-phase current so that connected servo motors follow programmed speed and position profiles. By converting digital setpoints into regulated power, the unit forms the link between machine logic and mechanical movement in automated machining, packaging, and handling equipment.

I/O traffic is handled through the SERCOS interface, which synchronizes telegrams on a deterministic optical ring and lets the drive share cycle time with neighboring axes.
