The Bosch Rexroth DDS Drive System is an adaptable, compact drive suite that combines AC servo and main drives into one efficient package. It serves various applications, including machine tools, textiles, packaging, robotics, and handling machines. Featuring a cooling technology that dissipates heat within the cabinet, it requires minimal installation effort. The drive incorporates a SERCOS module for communication, providing inputs for reference switches, limit switches, and sensor inputs via fiber optic cables. The drive controller, with a peak current of 50A, connects to any Indramat supply unit offering DC 24 voltage. This model includes a basic unit, plugin module, software module, and firmware. It is rated IP 20 according to DIN 40 050, can operate optimally at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%, and is suitable for installation up to 1000m above sea level.
