The DMA 140D 5311-D from Bosch Rexroth Indramat integrates seamlessly into the high-performance DMA Servo Drive Modules family. This three-phase inverter module delivers precise motor control for both synchronous and asynchronous applications, with a robust 140 A current rating. Configurable via the DSS-D commissioning system on a connected PC, the unit supports SR/SF servo motors and DU series asynchronous motors out of the box. A modular design pairs with power supply, mains connection, backplane and personality modules to build tailored drive solutions.

In demanding environments, the module accepts an Input Voltage of 670 V and supplies an Output Voltage of 400 V, drawing only 1.58 A at 24 VDC control input. Thermal management relies on natural convection cooling, requiring a minimum of 100 mm clearance above and below for airflow. For switching frequencies up to 4 kHz, current derates by 2.5 A/K above 45 °C, and at 8 kHz by 1.75 A/K above the same threshold, with a recommended operating range of 0 … 45 °C (never exceeding 55 °C). The compact footprint spans 200 mm width, and integrated interfaces include a resolver interface and single-axis positioning support.
