The HLC Drives are a type of capacity module drive by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, designed to optimize energy balance in applications and expedite machining cycles. These drives, upon connection to a DC bus, act as temporary power storage, effectively reducing heat loss in control cabinets due to resistor relief. Additionally, in the event of power failure, the stored energy facilitates a controlled return motion to protect the workpiece and tooling in gear cutting machines.
