HNL Mains Chokes

Bosch Rexroth HNL Mains Chokes are line-side reactor components used to condition the mains connection in IndraDrive and RD500 drive-system installations. The series is applied with IndraDrive supply units, IndraDrive converters, and RD500 SFT power-filter or inverter arrangements. Its main functions include reducing mains-current harmonics, improving allowable continuous DC-bus power on supported converters, and enabling regenerative energy return on compatible systems. HNL01.xE versions are used with feeding, non-regenerative components such as HMV01.1E, HCS02.1E, and HCS03.1E. HNL01.xR versions are matched to regenerative supply units such as HMV01.1R and require the correct mains-voltage synchronization or discharge connection. The range covers three-phase 400 to 480 V and 400 to 500 V classes, with IndraDrive current ratings from 51 A to 220 A and RD500 filter-choke versions reaching up to 1170 A. Higher-capacity regenerative and inverter-related models use larger inductance and power-loss ratings for heavy-duty applications. Depending on the version, HNL chokes may include air or liquid cooling, temperature-contact protection, IP00 or IP20 construction, and model-specific mounting requirements.
