The Bosch Rexroth MPN R911200008 (RZP01.1-L2) is an additional module for RD 500 automation systems, designed to enable peer-to-peer coupling via fiber optic cables. It facilitates fast digital set point cascading, allowing each drive in a cascade to transmit five process data words to the next drive using an integrated controller. For the RD51, synchronized operation of drive units is supported; for the RD52, only unsynchronized coupling is possible. The module operates at multiple baud rates, draws +5V and +15V internally from the control card, and supports an internal protocol. Physical dimensions are 100 mm x 87 mm, and it functions within 0–40°C. The module meets A1 radio interference suppression as per EN 55011 and complies with EN 50082-2 noise immunity requirements.
