BTC06 Manual Control Units are Bosch Rexroth Indramat portable operator panels used for mobile machine control, setup, and monitoring in single-axis and multi-axis systems. The series operates from a 24 VDC supply and combines a 240 × 128 graphic LCD with LED backlighting, a 48-key polyester keypad, and a compact polycarbonate housing that provides IP65 protection when correctly connected. Communication is handled through an Indramat-standard RS485/RS422 interface for use with controller families such as MTS, CLC, DKC, DLC, and CLM, while an RS232 port supports firmware loading and project configuration. Operator safety is built into the panel design through a dual-circuit emergency stop and, depending on the version, a three-position live-man switch with redundant isolated contacts and category 4 safety circuitry according to EN954-1. Optional features such as a handwheel, override switch, and slide-in key labels allow the unit to be adapted for machine tools, handling systems, packaging machines, food-processing equipment, and other industrial installations that require a durable hand-held control interface.
