It employs a brushless construction and life-long lubricated bearings to reduce maintenance requirements. The encoder type is digital servo feedback (HSF) allowing for relative position detection with system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes, eliminating the need for a separate incremental encoder. The unit has natural convection cooling, a centering diameter of 180 mm, flange size of 192 mm, and is equipped with a plain shaft and shaft seal.
