The MHD131 synchronous motor (model R911295528 (MHD131D-024-PP2-BN)) from Bosch Rexroth represents a leap in motion control technology. This permanent magnet machine integrates seamlessly with the recommended digital drive controller for robust and efficient operation. The motor is cooled via natural convection or surface modes, and features a 240 Nm hold brake for superior control during deceleration. With balanced keyways, its output shaft and power connector (177-279V) are conveniently placed at the top. The motor offers 448 Nm of peak torque at 3000 rpm using max. current of 398 A. With increased housing and winding temperatures, the unit provides a continuous torque of 160 Nm and 240 Nm, respectively. It features digital servo feedback and an absolute multi-turn encoder for efficient shaft positioning. With four pole pairs, a winding inductivity of 2.5 mH at 20°C and 0.08 Ohm winding resistance, it delivers 7 kW (natural convection cooling) or 26.5 kW (surface cooling) of rated power. The MHD131 is IP65 certified and performs optimally between 0 and +40°C.
