The R911344216 (MSM031C-0300-NN-M5-MH1) is a compact IndraDyn S synchronous motor designed for flange mounting with installation possible in any orientation. It operates with natural convection cooling and features a multiturn absolute encoder with battery backup. The motor includes an electrical release holding brake, providing 1.27 Nm of torque with play of ±1° or less. The shaft is plain and not sealed, and the electrical connection is established via cable tail. Continuous standstill torque is rated at 1.30 Nm. Care is required during gearbox installation due to potential changes in thermal coupling and heat dissipation. The motor type-plate contains manufacturing and operational data. Proper climatic conditions are necessary during storage and transport to prevent icing or condensation.
