This model uses liquid cooling, so thermal energy is carried away by a coolant circuit routed through the stator jacket, enabling continuous operation at the motor’s 2100 Nm rated torque without overheating. With a rated phase current of 64 A, the drive amplifier can be sized for steady-state loads while still delivering a mechanical output of 22 kW at nominal conditions. For transient events such as indexing or rapid acceleration, the motor can reach a peak torque of 4700 Nm, giving designers a large overload margin for short duty cycles.

The maximum permissible current rises to 212 A, a figure that defines the short-term current limit of the inverter and cabling. Dynamic response is influenced by the rotor’s inertia of 1.92 kg·m², which damps speed ripple and helps maintain constant velocity under fluctuating loads. Power and sensor conductors exit through a stator-side cable with a large outer diameter, reducing voltage drop on long runs. The windings are protected by thermal encapsulation, improving insulation life in high-temperature environments. No encoder is integrated, so external feedback hardware must be specified when closed-loop position or speed control is required.
