MST Synchronous Torque Motors

MST Synchronous Torque Motors are Bosch Rexroth Indramat liquid-cooled stator assemblies used with matching MRT rotors to create complete IndraDyn T permanent-magnet torque motors. The stator combines a laminated magnetic core, multipolar windings, and an integrated cooling jacket, allowing the motor to sustain high continuous torque while remaining compact enough for direct-drive rotary-axis designs. Because the completed MST/MRT motor drives the load directly, applications such as rotary tables can eliminate mechanical transmission components like gearboxes, improving positioning response while maintaining high torque and low torque ripple. The stator itself does not provide standalone motion control; commutation, torque regulation, monitoring, and operating behavior are handled by a compatible Bosch Rexroth controller. Supported drive platforms include IndraDrive, DIAX, and EcoDrive systems, allowing the built-in torque motor to be integrated into different Rexroth motion-control architectures.
