MHP Synchronous Motors

Rexroth MHP Synchronous Motors are permanent-magnet AC servo motors developed for fast-response motion control when paired with POWERDRIVE controllers. The series uses electronic commutation and an integrated optical encoder with 2048 lines, 1 Vss sine signals, and a reference track to support accurate speed regulation and positioning. Motor construction is designed for industrial service, with a sealed IP65 housing as standard, integrated temperature monitoring for overload protection, and an optional sealing-air connection for applications exposed to coolant or oil. MHP motors are available in several frame sizes and torque ranges, with cooling matched to the duty requirement through natural convection, optional radial surface cooling on selected models, or liquid cooling on specific versions where higher continuous output is needed. This combination of compact construction, flexible thermal management, and integrated feedback makes the MHP series suited for servo applications that demand responsive axis control and reliable machine integration.
