HMV IndraDrive Supply Units

Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive HMV Supply Units are DC supply modules used in IndraDrive M systems to provide the shared DC bus for compatible HMS and HMD power sections. The HMV series is available in both infeed and regenerative versions, allowing the supply unit to be matched to the drive system’s energy requirements. These units connect to a three-phase mains supply and distribute DC bus power through the L+ and L− interface to multiple connected drive controllers. Control integration is handled through an external 24 V supply, with dedicated I/O for mains contactor control and a DC bus short-circuit function, also known as ZKS, for defined fault or power-loss conditions. Floating message contacts provide system status signals, including readiness for mains connection, DC bus voltage condition, and warnings such as braking resistor overload or supply-unit overtemperature. For cabinet installation, HMV units require proper grounding and can be connected with modular accessories such as contact bars and joint bars, which link the DC bus, control voltage, and protective earth between adjacent devices.
