CML IndraControl Hardware

CML IndraControl hardware units are modular control platforms that combine embedded-PC processing with expandable terminal-based I/O for PLC and motion-logic applications. The series is available in several performance levels and system configurations, including versions with and without a real-time motion network interface. Depending on the controller variant, CML units include onboard high-speed digital I/O along with communication interfaces such as Ethernet and industrial fieldbus options. Expansion is handled through function and technology modules connected by the internal bus, as well as Rexroth Inline I/O terminals installed directly alongside the controller. This allows the platform to support both centralized cabinet-based control and distributed machine-control layouts. Application programs and runtime data are stored on an accessible CompactFlash medium, making service and replacement more practical. The controller operates from a 24 VDC supply, which is used to generate the internal logic power and auxiliary supplies required for the controller and connected I/O terminals.
