MLS Synchronous Linear Motors

MLS Synchronous Linear Motors are Bosch Rexroth Indramat permanent-magnet secondary sections used to form the magnetic track in IndraDyn L direct-drive linear motor systems. These segments operate with MLP primary units and are compatible with both standard encapsulated and thermo-encapsulated motor configurations. The product range includes MLS040, MLS070, MLS100, MLS140, MLS200, and MLS300 sizes, giving system designers several track options for different force and power requirements. Mechanical installation is handled through screw fastening along the outside edges of each segment, while a protective cover sheet shields the magnets from corrosion, coolant, oil, and physical damage during machine operation. To support different axis lengths and machine layouts, MLS secondary sections are available in 150 mm, 450 mm, and 600 mm segment lengths.
